Who we are:

The Sounding Board includes an author's editorial service for writers who want an edge in getting published. We offer basic manuscript preparation services such as critiques and line edits.

A critique from The Sounding Board is several pages long, and does not mark the manuscript. It analyzes the overall plot, character development, dialogue, grammar, and any trends or recurring problems. A line edit does this in detail, on the manuscript pages directly. Line edits also correct punctuation, spelling and format problems.

 We are experienced in Science Fiction and Romance.

We guarantee that your work will be handled only by professionals, and will not be 'farmed out' as has become the practice of some other services. All work is always confidential and handled non judgmentally.

We do not work with poetry.
